Artist Statement

Over the years,

home has become a liminal space,

coming and going every couple months.

And yet this place always grounds me,

and fills me,

and inspires me,

only to send me back out again.

In each nook and cranny,

the inside and the outside worlds merge together

to reflect my external and internal life.

And in the waiting,

and filling,

and sending,

my present self is reintroduced to the child I was

and I am made new.
