Mary Bernadette

Hey there! I’m Mary, a Jesus-loving, pastry-munching, rosary-praying,

letter-writing, twin-matching, photo-making, oil-painting, commission-

taking beloved daughter of God.

Having graduated from the University of Dayton with a BA in Visual Arts in

May 2022, I have been blessed to develop my art one-on-one with

professional artists and professors; I am now home in Ohio, loving my

Jesus, my family, and my work as an artist. When I’m not putting oil to

canvas, I love to spend time in Eucharistic adoration, play with my nieces

and nephews, and bake biscotti and other goodies in the kitchen.

My art work is about grace; it is about the abundance of gifts freely given

by God as we live each moment as His little ones. This grace, as abundant

as the air we breathe, often goes unnoticed. Through art, I desire to direct

hearts to this grace: God’s truth, beauty, and goodness which is reflected

uniquely in each of us, His children. God’s heart is vulnerable and exposed

for each and every one of His children to come and snuggle up and rest in;

He desires us to draw near to Him, and we need reminded. That’s where

my art comes in. Though I specialize in customized portraiture and oil

painting I am open to wherever the Lord calls me to serve Him.
